INGREDIENTS
Approx 3 lbs of chicken drumsticks and wings
Dry Rub
2 TB baking powder
2 TB brown sugar
2 Teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons lemon pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1.5 teaspoons celery seed
For Honey Buffalo Sauce
3 TB butter
1 TB cornstarch (can sub with flour)
4 TB Franks Red Hot Original Sauce
1/2 Cup Honey
1 TB Molasses
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. NOTE: Wings can also be grilled or fried.
Combine all dry ingredients in a freezer size plastic sealable bag and gently shake wings in mixture until evenly coated. Prepare a baking sheet with foil on bottom and cookie cooling rack on top. Line up the wings on a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes. Turn over halfway through.
Switch oven to broil and crisp them on each side, about 2 minutes. Be careful they don’t burn!
Remove wings and set aside.
In a skillet or sauce pan, add butter, buffalo sauce, honey, molasses & cornstarch. Mix well till sauce thickens. Pour warm sauce over the wings.
